Grape Passions, Coastal Reach, Pinot Noir, Rosé, 2021, England
English Pinot Noir is pretty good but when it’s rose it’s even better. Grape Passions is a wind merchant just douth of Colchester znd this is their own brand wine. It’s fresh and crisp with plenty of flavour and good length. You have strawberry and raspberry with red fruit hints all the way through. At about £15 a bottle is not cheap but its pretty good.
At £28 a bottle it’s not cheap but this white wine made from the Xarel lo grape by Pares Balta I’d pretty good. Clean and clear it has aromas and flavours of almonds and citrus and grapefruit with soft creamy undertone. To be sipped and savoured.

Dark Corner, Durif – Shiraz, 2021, Australia
Dark Corner, Durif Shiraz is a real Australian heavy red wine that that’s you back a decade or two. This is a dry big hitting red with plenty of black fruit aromas and flavours. There’s a chunk of spice thrown in for a wine that although smooth does shout meat and more of it. Its a wine that goes very well with steak or a hearty stew. A bit big on its own for me.
At £12 a bottle it’s OK value, you are unlikely to finish the bottle quickly.
