At one point in your life you are likely to taste alcohol. Do you taste or do you guzzle!

I started to drink alcohol when I was in my teens, I started to taste alcohol much later.

Wine, spirits or cocktails, less is often better, quality over quantity.

In March 2019 I passed by WSET level 2 exam with 92% pass mark. Do you need to do an exam to drink wine – no. I took the course to try and keep up with the wife who has her WSET diploma (less than 10,000 had passed that exam in 50 years when she passed in 2016) and she can also teach the level 1 and 2 WSET courses.

My wife works in the wine trade, she’s worked in vineyards to wine merchants and wine magazine.  She also works on wines tastings and is an international wine judge. See her website www.wineathome.co.uk for more on her.

This means we have lots of different wines and try wines you may not be able to get in the UK, would not try because you don’t know the wine producer or grape or its a bit pricey.

Below is our medical store as we call it, with air con and great in the summer! The good stuff is in a 6 foot wine fridge, this is the drink now place.
